Accessibility

LIETA Milano is committed to making lietamilano.com usable for everyone, regardless of ability. This is ongoing work — please tell us when we fall short.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines across the entire site, including readable typography, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard-navigable interfaces, and screen-reader compatible markup.

What's in place

Keyboard navigation across all interactive elements (Tab, Enter, Space, Arrow keys, Escape).
Image alt text on every product photo and brand asset.
Visible focus states and skip-to-content links.
Respect for the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations are minimised.
Semantic HTML throughout — proper headings, lists, buttons, landmarks.
Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA on body text.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never finished. We're currently working on:

Improved aria-live announcements for cart and wishlist actions.
Better screen-reader transcripts for video content.
High-contrast mode review.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the site, we want to know. Email accessibility@lietamilano.com with a description of the issue, the page URL, and the device / assistive technology you're using.

We aim to respond within 5 business days and fix substantive issues within 30 days.
