The micro top-handle, for what you actually carry. Phone, cards, lipstick, keys, one folded note — and nothing you won’t use. A structured trapezoid in Walpier Buttero calf that sits balanced in the hand, holds its shape without stiffening, and opens with a single quarter-turn of its solid-brass lock. The quiet presence of a four-figure top-handle, without the four figures. Cut and stitched by hand in Italy.
- Full-grain vegetable-tanned Italian calf — Walpier Buttero, colour-dyed all the way through the hide
- Structured trapezoidal body: 22 cm at the base tapering to 19 cm at the opening — a planted, architectural stance
- LIETA turn-lock — our own geometry, a landscape plate and pivoting bar, one quarter-turn to open
- One-piece half-flap, folding in an unbroken line from the back panel
- Single rounded top handle, hand-saddle-stitched at the anchors · 7.7 cm clear drop
- Solid-brass hardware, hand-plated in Arezzo — warm gold on Chocolate, palladium on Nero
- Four brass foot studs · cream microfibre lining · interior slip pocket + D-ring
- Hand-painted edges, three colour-matched coats
- Handmade in Italy
- Dimensions: 22 cm W × 17 cm H × 9 cm D · approx. 500 g
The joy, not the markup.
Your phone, a cardholder, a lipstick and keys — the essentials, held in shape. Not a bag for A4 or a laptop.
- Leather — full-grain vegetable-tanned Italian calf, Walpier Buttero, colour-dyed all the way through the hide.
- Construction — structured trapezoid; every panel of one bag clicker-cut from a single hide so grain and colour match throughout.
- Closure — the LIETA turn-lock: a landscape brass plate and pivoting bar, one quarter-turn to open.
- Lining — cream microfibre with one flat slip pocket and a small brass D-ring.
- Hardware — solid brass hand-plated in Arezzo; warm gold on Chocolate, palladium on Nero. Domed rivets throughout, no visible screws.
- Strap — single rounded top handle, hand-saddle-stitched at the anchors; 7.7 cm clear drop. Hand-carry only.
- Make — cut and stitched by hand in Italy.
- Dimensions — 22 cm W at the base, tapering to 19 cm at the opening × 17 cm H × 9 cm D.
- Weight — approx. 500 g.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Buttero is a vegetable-tanned leather: it will darken and develop a patina with use — that is the hide doing what it should, not a fault.
Store in the cotton dust bag, away from prolonged rain and direct sun.
Don't overfill. The trapezoid holds its line best when it isn't stretched.
