Terms of Sale
The terms governing your purchase from lietamilano.com. Clear, fair, and customer-friendly — written without small print.
Last updated · 13 May 2026
1 · The Maison
These terms apply to any purchase made on lietamilano.com (the “Site”). The Site is operated by LIETA Milano. For full legal entity details see our Imprint.
2 · The bags
Every LIETA bag is handcrafted in Scandicci, Florence, Italy. Because each piece is made by hand from natural leather, small variations in tone, grain and finish are part of the craft — they are not defects.
3 · Pricing
Prices are shown in euros (€) and include VAT for EU buyers. The price displayed at the time you place your order is the price you pay. We reserve the right to correct typographical errors before order confirmation.
4 · Placing an order
Your order is a binding offer. A contract is formed when we send the order-confirmation email. We may refuse an order if (a) the item is no longer available, (b) we cannot verify payment, or (c) we suspect fraud.
5 · Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe / Shopify Payments. Your card is charged when your order is confirmed.
6 · Shipping
See our Shipping page for delivery times and fees. Risk passes to you when the carrier delivers the package.
7 · Returns
EU buyers have 30 days from delivery to return unused items in their original packaging. See our Returns & Exchanges page for the full procedure.
8 · Warranty
We stand behind our craft. Every LIETA bag carries a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Normal wear and damage from misuse are not covered. To make a claim, email [email protected] with photos and your order number.
9 · Intellectual property
All content on the Site (photography, copy, design, the LIETA wordmark and lockup) is owned by LIETA Milano and protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.
10 · Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Otherwise, our liability for any single order is capped at the order's value.
11 · Disputes & governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Florence, Italy, except where consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
12 · Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. The version in force at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
